Liz Burchill is a Unicorn Finder. As a 30 year recruiting veteran she heads up The KPM Group's Direct Hire Practice partnering with Michigan based firms as well as national companies to provide search and placement expertise over an extensive range of positions from mid-level to executive level opportunities within a variety of industries and verticals. While so much talent acquisition today is done with technology, Liz head hunts passive candidates--those individuals who don't even realize they're open to hearing about opportunities until she reaches out to them. That’s her well-honed power—to effectively add to a company's talent pool. For candidates she’s always a coach and mentor throughout the entire recruiting process so they feel safe working with her because she always has their best interests in mind.

Her professional goal is to always create partnerships between candidates and companies to achieve a "win-win" scenario for everyone. Her expertise enables her to perform deep-dive searches that exceed expectations. She has national networks in place for positions in the U. S. and Canada and living in metro Detroit allows her to have her finger on the pulse of what's happening locally. It also helps that she’s been a recruiting staple in metro Detroit since the mid 1990s and has developed longstanding relationships with both clients and candidates.

Outside of work she loves reading, watching TV, enjoys following the British Royal Family and is a history nut. She likes hanging out with her husband and their Siberian cat Scooby (all 17 lbs of him) and loves their summer cottage on the Georgian Bay in Canada.
