Accounts Payable Associate
Our client is one of the largest vehicle logistics company in North America who moves new and used vehicles for OEMs, dealerships, auctions, and fleet operators across the continent. They do it through company drivers, owner-operators, and thousands of third-party carriers in our network.
We are actively recruiting for an Accounts Payable Associate with a minimum of 6 months experience who wants to join their corporate accounting department.
The Central Administration department plays a vital role in the company’s financial stability. The Accounts Payable Associate is accountable for supplier and brokerage payments. This role will provide quality customer service to exemplify care and commitment to our suppliers, carrier partner base and customers.
Job Duties
Check and approve all vouchers for payment/verify supplier statements
Responsible for routing invoices, including the match, batch and coding
Review and issue supplier and brokerage payments
Serve as first point of contact for payment inquiries
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to follow processes
Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Proficiency in web-based accounting programs
Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications
Knowledge of: Accounts Payable and invoice processing preferred
Ability to learn various web-based software programs (MAS, OVISS, DMS)
Minimum six months of experience in office environment preferred
Transportation experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Location: Plymouth, MI (this is not a hybrid role)
